The regular training activities include weekly seminar and lectures, core lectures, and training modules and meeting of all disciplines. In addition, the department holds at least one regional educational conference per year. The department also is the training hospital for clinical pathologists and medical technologists. The teaching faculties comprise two lecturers, 3 master degree medical technologists, eleven certified clinical teachers, and 36 medical technologists of a variety of specialty. The department is also active in publishing research papers and attending domestic and international conferences
