Urine routine
- The best sample is first urine after wark up
- Please take sample from the middle of your urineation in the cup and fill the tube 80% full
- The urine sample should send to Lab in one hour ，otherwise please store in 4℃ refrigerator and send to Lab as soon as possible

24-hour Urine Collection
- The OPD laboratory will offer you a large collection bottle Please collect urine for 24 hours urine in the large collection bottle
- Bring the order sheet and the container to the same counter.
- There are VMA、Catecholamine、17-KS、17-OHCS、5-HIAA、δ-ALA、Porphobilinogen tests need addition with 6N HCl
- Please handle the 6N HCl with care because it is corrosive. In case the skin or eye was contacted with the 6N HCl by accident, please use a large quantity of water to rinse immediately for 20 to 30 minutes. Then call for medical treatment. If the antiseptic was swallowed by mistake, do not try the emesis. Please rinse the mouth with water and drink about 300 mL water. Also call for medical treatment.

Stool Routine
- OPD laboratory counter will offer you a S-Y feces test bottle.
- Unscrew the lid and use the attached inner scoop to collect the stool approximately a peanut size. Then screw it back .
- Send to Lab in two hours ,otherwise please store in 4℃refrigerato. Ameba ?sample need store in 37℃ water tank .Send to Lab in 30 minutes

specimen collection
- Within 3 days prior to the occult blood test (chemical method), please don’t eat red meat, liver, spinach, cabbage, cauliflower, etc. to avoid the false positive results.
- Please avoid the contamination of urine or water in the toilet while collecting the stool specimen. Meantime, do not place the stool directly over the toilet tissue or towel paper.
- Sample adopt to have the suspicious parts, such as mucus or blood ...etc.
- Can't arrange the urine under Stool, because of the urine is harmful to the protozoa .

Semen Analysis
- Avoid sexual behavior for 3 to 5 days before the examination.
- Obtain semen by masturbation and leave it all in the specific container provided by the OPD laboratory.
- Do not use the condom, because the condom contains lubricator and spermatocidal agent.
Notes
Send the specimens and order sheet to the OPD laboratory within 30 minutes of collection.
- Please record the time of collection on the order sheet.
- Please do not store the specimen in the refrigerator.

Sputum anylsis
- First-time sputum is the best sample after wake up , can represent the phlegm liquid that the lung department whole night secretes.
- Please rinse the mouth with water.
- Then cough the sputum into the container provided by the laboratory
- While collecting the sputum, it is necessary to cough up harder from the deep part of lungs. Please avoid mixing with large amount of saliva
