◆ PCI with or without preceding
catheterization/angiography package is a 2-to-3- day
course. It is designed for patients’ coronary artery
disease, and starting from a warm, and relaxing welcome
reception in the afternoon or evening (comprising
environment introduction, history taking, physical
check-ups, and laboratory examinations). After enjoying
you meal, which is delicious and also specially designed
according to your baseline body profile, you will have a
nice sleep good for coming-day procedures.
◆ The second day events initiate from a
morning call, which could be chosen between 6 to 7 am,
for you to complete your personal hygiene activities.
Then nurses will set a venous line as well as taking
fasting blood check-ups.
◆ You will be brought, by experienced
and polite staff, to our state-of-art Catheterization
Center, where the team of procedure led by your doctor
will be waiting. You can chose a routine procedure
without anesthesia or a painless one, which we highly
recommend for the sake of your comfort. The course of
the procedure will last 30 minutes to 3 hours, depending
on the numbers of your vessels to be intervened. You
could chose a bare-metal stent or any of the 6
drug-eluting stents (DES) provided here for your
vessels.
◆ After brief recovery in our waiting
area (a little longer if you chose a painless
procedure), you will soon found yourself already back in
your ward room, private and comfort, to the aftercare
team. Your doctors and nurse will explain once more the
result of the procedure, which your family and friends
have been informed, and what you should pay attention
to.
◆ After 3-to-6 hour recovery course in
the ward including one blood test and ECG check-up, you
will be ready to leave. Your doctors and nurse will once
more in front of your bed, reminding of their advices.
You are highly recommended to have a small taking-home
ECG machine, the SAFE-for-HEART device (SHD), back with
you. You can easily transmit you real-time ECG signals,
which are essential to detect the earliest signs of any
possible abnormality, to our central calling center. Of
course, you can chose to stay one more night for longer
monitoring.
◆ Before your leaving, you will be
given a medical summary, a CD of medical image and a
special designed recommendation exclusively according to
your personal profile. Surely, our dietitian team,
rehabitation tem, pharmacists and /or other specialists
will attend you if you wish. The whole course flow is
depicted as below: *Follow-up could be in FEMH or any of

Our Mini-invasive Open Heart surgery
package (CABG package and Valve Package) will bring you
state-of-art care medical care experiences, and is much
likely to PCI one.
The only difference is the recovery
phase will be in ICU lasting 1~2 day , and you will need
2-3 more days in ward for after-care. However, if a
preceding catheterization is required, you will undergo
a catheterization in the morning and the mini-invasive
surgery will be arranged in the afternoon, that is to
say, you will anticipate one more night stay. |
