| Introduction After 2000, excellent doctors from National Taiwan University are brought into the hospital under the leadership of current superintendent Chu, and it has further expanded its scale as well as strengthened its research capability. Here, patients can obtain dental care from the professional team work, where National Taiwan University members provide care. This Dental Center was the University-based dental department in Taiwan. The Dental Center trains both dental students and dental residents. The Dental Center stands a national leader in dental education with graduates assuming leadership positions in the dental profession. Faculty The division is made up of 7 specialty. A multi-specialty group dental practice, the professional team work combines general dentists, oral surgeon specialists in all areas of dental medicine and dental hygienists to provide an excellent approach to treat patients. Core Competence We provide the outpatient clinics, in-hospital service, hygiene teaching counseling. The division specializes in the caring and diagnosis of patient. Presently, it provides various kinds of diagnosis and treatment services for oral diseases. Therefore, we provide affordable and comprehensive care to patients in the fields of General Dentistry, Oral Maxillofacial Surgery, Periodontics, Prosthodontics, Implant Dentistry, Endodontics, Orthodontics,Pediatric Dentistry and Dental Hygiene. For many patients, the lower fees make it worth spending the extra time to receive quality care. Facilities In 2007, Professor Kuo expanded and remodeled the facility. Today, the Teaching Practice at Far Eastern Dental Center is a state-of-the-art facility with well-equipped operations and modern sterilization equipment. Teaching and Training The regular meetings include morning meeting, clinical case conference, teaching round, mortality conference, research conference. We also provide the fellow training program and nursing staff training program. Prospect 1)Consolidate the capacity of molecular biological research. 2)Total care of oral disease. 3)Augment the clinical service capacity. 4)Strengthen the core research and develop the oral stem cell research. 5)Focus on the global and professional team work in the Dental Center. |
