The FEMH Center for Chronic kidney disease (CKD) Education provides a support service for patients and families. In collaboration with our nephrologists, experienced renal nurses and a dietician, we provide education about CKD and its management and individualized plans of care that include nutritional counseling, blood pressure management, medication review and supportive services. Information concerning renal replacement options including hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis and transplantation is offered as well.
