 Description

  1. Nuclear Medicine Scans need doctors to prescribe the orders on the "Far Eastern Memorial Hospital Nuclear Medicine scan application sheet" and patients make an appointment by phone. Please bring health insurance card, identification card, and registration fee to nuclear medicine center (Far Eastern Memorial Hospital, B1) on the examination day.

  2. Radioimmunoassay also need doctors to prescribe the orders on the "Far Eastern Memorial Hospital Radioimmunoassay application sheet" and patients make an appointment by phone. Please bring health insurance card, identification card, and registration fee to nuclear medicine center (Far Eastern Memorial Hospital, B1) on the examination day.

  3. waiting time for results of examination or tests: within three days after nuclear medicine scan, & within 3-7 days after RIA blood sample taken.

 Flow chart

  1. Nuclear medicine scan: Doctor's application sheet ->phone us for a date ->patient bring health insurance card , identification card and registration fee and come to our nuclear center for examination. After the examination, we will mail or fax the image or report to the referring doctor or hospital.  Patient registered at that hospital for report.

  2. Radioimmunoassay: Doctor's application sheet ->  patient NPO for more than 6hr -> patient come to us with insurance card, identification card, and registration fee for receiving test  -> we will mail or fax test reports back to the referring hospital  ->patient visit original hospital for the result.

  3. referral radioimmunoassay: Doctor's application sheet ->  patient NPO for more than 6hr -> patient come to us with insurance card, and application sheet for receiving test  -> we will mail or fax test reports back to the referring hospital  ->patient visit original hospital for the result.
