Aside from the services that are being offered within the hospital premises, our department also has outreach services to the community, these include the following:

A. E-Counseling

Since the year 2004, our hospital started to offer counseling over the website. If you want to avail of this service, please visit our hospital official website: http://www.femh.org.tw and there is a link to our psychiatry department where there is a section on online counseling. Please post your questions and one of our professional staff be glad to answer it.

B. Forensic Psychiatry Services

C. Taipei District Higher Education Counseling Center

Our department, under instructions from the department of education, is assign to give medical/technical support to the Taipei District Higher Education Counseling Center. These include: counseling of cases referred from the various junior and senior high school counselors, bi-annual meeting with the various school counselors and representatives, education through talks and speeches given in the various junior and senior high schools, etc. If you know of any junior or senior high school students studying in the Taipei district are who probably needs a more in-depth psychiatric evaluation of their problems, it is advised that you contact the school counselor for referral to the center.

D. Taipei Suburb for the Prevention of Sexual Offenses Group、Taipei Suburb Anti-Home Aggression Group

E. Taipei District Jail’s Drug Rehabilitation Assessment Program. 

This program was started in the year 2005 and continues till today. Our department accepts referrals from the Taipei District Jail to evaluate the inmate’s substance use behavior.
